THE WAND SHOP
The Wand Shop was established in 1999 by The Wandmaker. The Wandmaker had been making wands for wizards for many ages. Her wands were coveted worldwide by the Wizard Realms. (The Wandmaker is one of the few wandmakers that make all six types of Salien wands. She also has created Galdorgalere wands for many Wizards on the continent.)
Then, in 1999, a strange thing happened. The Wandmaker was contacted by humans looking for a wand. Humans had recently become aware of the Wizards. A human writer sold millions of books relating the fictionalized story of a certain Galdorgalere Wizard. (How she obtained the information about this Wizard and the Wizarding World remains a mystery. It is apparent to Wizards that her source was NOT a Galdorgalere Wizard as some of the details in her story are completely wrong. On the other hand, many parts of her published books are very close to the truth.) The Wandmaker took the request to the ISW (The International Society of Wandmakers) and the AURW (Assembly for the Unification of the Wizard Realms) and finally to the LOW (League of Wizards). These assemblies decided to allow The Wandmaker, under the name The Wand Shop, to sell wands to humans.
The Wandmaker crafts every Wand Shop wand using the same ancient methods she uses on her Wizard Wands. In essence, every Wand Shop wand is identical to wands crafted for the Wizard Realms.
Soon after The Wandmaker established The Wand Shop, a number of fake "wandmakers" took to the internet and established shops to sell wands. Not a one of these is run by a true Wandmaker. The Wand Shop is the ONLY place a human can get a true Wizard Wand crafted by a true Wandmaker and only The Wand Shop is a certified (in fact a Charter) Member of the International Society of Wandmakers.
The Wandmaker takes great pride in her wands. Every wand is a unique creation, balanced and carved to bring out the powers of the wood. You can be confident when you buy a Wand Shop wand, you have purchased a true Wizard Wand.
